Chevrolet
Chevrolet, colloquially referred to as Chevy, is division of the American manufacturer General Motors.
Chevrolet Europe GmbH was founded in 2005 as a subsidiary of GM Korea with headquarters in Zürich, Switzerland. Chevrolet did have a history in Europe prior to the establishment of Chevrolet Europe, with production facilities in Denmark, Poland, and Switzerland until 1968.
Sales grew between 2005 and 2010 mainly due to the introduction of small and mid-sized cars built by GMDAT (GM Daewoo Auto & Technology), however Korean-made Chevrolet models were officially withdrawn from Europe in January 2016.
