Fiat
Fiat is an Italian car manufacturer that is hugely popular in the UK with some of the most popular models being the Fiat 500, Fiat Bravo and Fiat Panda.
The company can trace its history back to 1899 when the first Fiat automobile, the Fiat 4 HP, was produced.
Fiat's main market is Europe and is historically successful in building city cars and Superminis.
Fiat was already exporting cars to the UK market by the outbreak of World War II in 1939. Its market share increased rapidly during the 1970s, but was further boosted in the 1980s with the Fiat Uno and the 1990s with the Fiat Punto.
