Nissan
Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. is a Japanese multinational car manufacturer headquartered in Nishi-ku, Yokohama, Japan.
The company sells its vehicles under the Nissan and Infiniti brands, and formerly the Datsun brand.
Nissan expand into worldwide markets in the 1950s, first showed the Datsun Bluebird at the 1958 Los Angeles Auto Show. It started importing cars to the UK in 1968 and in 1984 signed an agreement to build a car plant in the Sunderland.
The UK plant has manufactured many Nissan models including the Bluebird, Primera, Micra, Almera and Note. It now manufactures the Leaf, Juke and Qashqai models.
