SEAT

SEAT S.A. is a Spanish car manufacturer, which sells its vehicles under the SEAT and Cupra brands.

Founded in 1950, it quickly became the largest supplier of cars in Spain. In 1986, after 36 years of being publicly listed as an independent car manufacturer, the Spanish government sold SEAT to the Volkswagen Group where it remains as a subsidiary of the VW brand.

There are 2 main types of SEAT key:

Remote Key

A Remote or All-In-One Key is a key you must insert into the ignition, a chip in the head communicates to the car, which allows it to start. Powered by a battery, a remote car key fob will feature buttons that can lock, unlock the vehicle and deactivate the alarm at a nearby distance without putting the keyblade into the door lock.

Smart Key

Smart keys, sometimes referred to as Proximity keys, allow you to enter and start the car without inserting a physical key blade. When you are in proximity of your vehicle the fob communicates via radio waves, allowing you to enter the car, lock it and drive.

To order with us you need an existing key for your SEAT vehicle. We use the photograph of the blade to scan on our laser key-cutting software and machine. If you do not have a key you will need to contact an auto locksmith.
